If you live in Pleasant Grove and missed Thursday’s Mayoral and city council debates, you can watch them here. A big shout-out to iCaucus for sponsoring the debates and to Matthew Hailstone for the great job he did moderating.
Discussing their views for Mayor are current mayor Bruce Call and previous mayor, Mike Daniels. A third candidate, David Peterson, who did not participate in the debate portion but gave brief comments at the end.
Discussing their views as city council candidates are Dianna Andersen, Eric Jensen, Ben Stanley and Andy Weight.
In Pleasant Grove, the two biggest issues of this campaign cycle are the proposed bond for a new public safety building, the need for which every candidate agrees on, and the Timpanogas Special Service District, or TSSD, aka “the stench”.
